Update and Prayer needs:

We are so thankful for you and your prayers. Your generosity and prayers are a lifeline for us. God bless you! This week we both have 2 chemo and other treatments. We are going to “Mama” “Auntie” Ruth’s house for a meal, to do laundry, and for sweet fellowship. If Steve and I feel well, we will go to a Saturday Resurrection Celebration. Nate will begin his drive home on Easter afternoon. Selah and the baby will fly home on Tuesday. Norma will arrive on Easter Sunday, will stay until Friday. My brother will come April 24th – 30th. Please pray that I (Vonda) can be scheduled for one of my upcoming surgery/procedures while friends and family are here. Please pray forth that I can stop having severe nausea. PTL Steve’s MRI showed no sign of brain tumor. Steve went to urologist to check for prostate cancer. PTL! The urologist does not think that there is cancer. We are so thankful to God for life. I have so enjoyed having our family here. Nehemiah let me fully read one of my books to him. He looked at the other one, too. He loved it. Of course, I see his amazing qualities. I praise God for his sweet little life.

God Bless, Steven and Vonda Hamilton

RESURRECTION DAY MESSAGE

Here we are at the Resurrection – but what does it mean for us and to us?
Ladell Kirk found this in 1001 Illustrations from Pulpit and Planform by Aquilla Webb
(Haper & Brothers Publishers).

RESURRECTION – COMFORT OF

I once stood holding the hand of a mother and together we looked on the sleeping face of a lovely girl who passed away in her twentieth year. “Farewell, my sweet daughter,” the mother said. “I wish you joy. You have gone to see the Saviour and be with Him. I shall have you again when He pleases. Farewell, till we meet again”.

That daughter had been devoted in her girlhood to loving work for other girls poorer and less fortunate than herself. Her mother tool up the work the youthful hands laid down, and carried it forward day by day for the sake of her child in heaven. That mother was comforted; she believed in the life everlasting, she knew and dwelt with the risen Christ.

What should we do in this world of loss and change without the comfort of the resurrection? –
From Christian Intelligencer.

RESURRECTION NECESSARY

“If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain and your faith is also vain”. 1 Cor. 15:14

Let’s remember some of the many hymns we have learned—-

“My Hope is Built on Nothing Less”

“In the Sweet By and By”

“A Mansion Over the Hilltop”

“Will the Circle Be Unbroken”

“O For a Faith That Will Not Shrink”

“Up From the Grave HE Arose”

Have a Blessed Resurrection Day – Enjoy the JOY HIS Resurrection brings:
VONDA & STEVEN

Please be sure to flag your gift as a medical donation. Please let us know your mailing address and name so we can mail

Please note if you give monthly, this medical donation needs to be separate from the monthly giving. We still need to keep
Expressions of Emmanuel (EOE) going as we have many projects that we are continuing. Many friends and our advisory
board members have stepped up to help with EOE projects, so that we can continue to reach the Deaf and hearing for
Christ. Vonda and Steven will be working on books, videos, and reaching the Deaf in the Phoenix area for Christ as they
are able while receiving the treatments. We still have plans to do the DeafNation World Expo – July 31 – Aug 4, 2022; and
when possible, VBS’s and Camps.
