Restorer (Gives New Life Again)!: Jesus healed people and restored them to health. Jesus promises that when we get to heaven that we will be fully restored!
Revelation 21:1-5 “
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and there was no sea anymore. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem,[a] coming down out of heaven from God. It was prepared like a bride dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Now God’s presence is with people, and he will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them and will be their God.[b] 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain, because all the old ways are gone.”
5 The One who was sitting on the throne said, “Look! I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this, because these words are true and can be trusted.” ‘
Here are some verses where Jesus did restoration by healing:
John 11:1-44. Jesus healed Lazarus from the dead.
Mark 8:22-25. Jesus healed the blind man.
John 9:1-7. Jesus healed the blind man.
Mark 7:32-35. Jesus healed the deaf man.
Righteous!: Jesus did everything right! Jesus was righteous! Jesus commands us to obey too. We need to seek to do what is right to please God!
1 John 2:29 ” Since you know that Christ is righteous, you know that all who do right are God’s children.”
1 John 3:7 “Dear children, do not let anyone lead you the wrong way. Christ is righteous. So to be like Christ a person must do what is right.”
Ruler!: Jesus is our ruler, our King, our Lord!
1 Timothy 6:14-15 “Do what you were commanded to do without wrong or blame until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. 15 God will make that happen at the right time. He is the blessed and only Ruler, the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords. “
Reward!: Jesus will reward Christians! The greatest reward is that we know and have Jesus! Let’s serve Jesus!
Colossians 3:23-24″In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people. 24 Remember that you will receive your reward from the Lord, which he promised to his people. You are serving the Lord Christ. “
Revelation 22:12 “Listen! I am coming soon! I will bring my reward with me, and I will repay each one of you for what you have done.”
Redeemer!: Jesus is our Redeemer/ Savior! He saves us and can do wonderful things in our lives if we let God work in us! In the Old Testament prophecy, it was written that a Redeemer/ Savior would come! Jesus has come and will redeem any person who accepts Him!
Job 19:25 “I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end, He will stand on the earth.”
Romans 3:23-24
” for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. “
Rest!: Jesus gives us rest! He is our rest! We can depend on Jesus when we are tired and weary! We can depend on Jesus at all times!
Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me (Jesus), all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Hebrews 4 tells of the Sabbath rest that Jesus offers the people of God!
