Seeing the Glory of God!
The Deaf focus on visuals and what they see. Props, photos, and anything visual is important. An old cliché (saying) is “Seeing is believing!”, but the Bible actually says “Believing is Seeing!” When Lazarus had died, Jesus commanded that the stone to the tomb be moved. Martha was concerned that Lazarus would smell, because Lazarus had been dead for four days. In John 11:40, “Jesus said to her, “I told you if you would believe, you would see the glory of God!” We must believe in God and we will see His power. God’s power can be seen in many ways. His power is not always seen in the way that “WE” think it should be, but if we believe, we will see God move and be glorified. Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”Our hearts must be pure in order to believe and see God. So as we celebrate Thanksgiving, let’s really thank and praise God. During the Christmas season, let’s really focus our eyes on Jesus, and SEE Christ as our greatest gift! If we have pure hearts, we will see the work of God! “Oh, God, please purify our hearts!”Let’s believe in Jesus, the Son of God and Son of Man, and see the glory of God. Happy Thanksgiving! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!
