“Grief & Menopause”

14 people that I knew and cared for died in about 14 months. I had faced many other challenges during my life, and in the years before my time of sadness. I also struggled with menopause (the change of life) that women struggle with as they age. Menopause was very hard on my body and emotions. My mother and sister’s deaths have been really hard for me. It is okay with the Lord for us to grieve, to be sad and mourn. But I knew that I had to become victorious over menopause and grief! Jesus was with me in my sadness and problems.

God knows that we become tired, hurt, sad, and frustrated. God cares and He will lift us up and make us like the eagle.

Isaiah 40:31
But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again.
They will rise up as an eagle in the sky;
they will run and not need rest;
they will walk and not become tired.

We can overcome depression, grief, anxiety, worries, menopause, and more. We need to cry out to God for His help!

Psalm 51:12
Give me back the joy of your salvation.
Keep me strong by giving me a willing spirit.

We need to know that our troubles and problems can be used to help us grow spiritually!

James 1:2-3
My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.
