“Fatherhood”
Did you have a father in your life? Was or is your father good to you? Some people have had wonderful fathers. Some fathers are so-so. Other fathers are terrible. But it is so wonderful that even though our earthly fathers are not perfect our Father in Heaven, God is perfect! He loves us! If we accept Jesus and become Christians, we are God’s children! He loves us!
I John 3:1
3 The Father has loved us so much that we are called children of God. And we really are his children. The reason the people in the world do not know us is that they have not known him.
Because we are His children we should obey children we should obey Him.
I John 3:7-8
7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you the wrong way. Christ is righteous. So to be like Christ a person must do what is right. 8 The devil has been sinning since the beginning, so anyone who continues to sin belongs to the devil. The Son of God came for this purpose: to destroy the devil’s work.
