A WORD ABOUT EXPRESSIONS OF EMMANUEL’S NEWSLETTERS

We are so thankful for all the many people who show an interest in Expressions of Emmanuel’s outreach with the Deaf. We are also grateful for those who support the work through prayer, service, and donations. We use our newsletters to help you learn about all the many things we do in our outreach ministry. Feel free to make use of this newsletter to assist you to know how to pray, or in considering serving and donating.

Over the years Expressions of Emmanuel has had several different volunteers come help us in our missions office. We are very grateful for the many hands that have helped us in this way. Because we have not had one steady person working the office, however, as you can imagine, sometimes things get shifted, lost, duplicated, etc. We apologize if this has caused you any inconvenience or concern in regards to our newsletter mailings. We currently are addressing the way we handle our mailings and are making improvements and strides to be more efficient.

For those who have requested our newsletter be sent by way of email, we are looking forward to things running much smoother once our new email system is put in place. Thank you for your patience as we get this worked out.

For those who are on our postal mailing list, we realize there may have been some mix-ups with duplication or somehow your name didn’t get put on the list. We ask for your patience as we work to optimize our postal mailing list.

In an effort to cut costs, we’d like to ask those of you on the postal mailing list to consider helping us by saving postage, paper, and ink, by requesting your newsletter be sent by email from now on. We realize that this may not be the best way for some people to go. But every little bit helps our ministry cut costs, thus helps those who sponsor us. So, if you want to change receiving our newsletter from postal to email, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can have the change made before our next mailing.

In addition, we realize that some have signed up in the past for our newsletter, but no longer wish to receive it. For those who want to be removed from our email mailings, we are setting in place within the email a way to unsubscribe. We hope that this will be ready even for this mailing. Please use the unsubscribe link in the email if you want to be permanently taken off of Expressions of Emmanuel’s email mailing list.

Those receiving our newsletter by snail mail can simply call our office or drop us a post card letting us know you would like to be removed from future mailings.

We don’t want to lose contact with anyone wanting to receive our newsletters. We know life gets busy. But we ask that you take a bit of time to let us know if your email or postal address has changed. We don’t want anyone to miss a newsletter. So please let us know as soon as you can if there is a mailing change.

Founded in 1864

The chapel is now a museum.
Gallaudet University has 1000 students.
Only 4 of those attend a Bible study.

Cloudi (20 on Nov. 9th) & Selah (also 20) celebrating after Church at the First Baptist Deaf Church in Richmond, Virginia. On November 21st the girls shared a video testimony of God’s protection in their car accident. We thank God for life!
